Walking through Dillingham, it’s hard not to notice that salmon are an integral almost holy part of their culture. The symbol is everywhere.
I was looking for information about the Pebble Mine site as well as a good map to show folks where exactly we fish and came across this amazing website.
The trucks of the boatyard are caricatures of the owners that drive them. Idle for 11 months and buried in snow, these trucks roar to life once a year.
Well we’ve been here for about five days now and the weather has been, well, muddy.
